it is in the K menu, but when I click on it, or when I press alt-f2 KPPP, than it doesn't start

I assume this is in reference to this thread.

Try typing `kppp` into a terminal window; then you'll see any errors thrown.

Sorry, I pressed on the "new topic" button instead of "new post".

The message I receive is:
(originally the message was german, I translated it):
you're not authorized to start KPPP

What can I do?

I know nothing about KPPP, but apparently it needs to be run as root.
