Hello,
Can anyone point me out the directory where I can edit the KDE startup & shutdown sounds (you know, when the desktop is nearly loaded, and a nice relaxing tune eases you into Linux...)?
I'm running Kanotix 2005_04 which is a very eye-candy, everything-and-the-kitchen-sink Debian based distro. I'm assuming the directory is similar if not identical to Debian's.
Thanks!

Re: kde startup sounds
How about kcontrol -> Sound & Multimedia -> System Notifications -> KDE System Notifications -> KDE is starting upmvephoto wrote:Hello,

In future, You are probably better off asking on a kanotix mailing list/forum for questions of this nature. Debian is not kanotix and kanotix is not Debian.mvephoto wrote: I'm running Kanotix 2005_04 which is a very eye-candy, everything-and-the-kitchen-sink Debian based distro. KDE sounds
Thanks - that did the trick.
(And no, I understand Debian<>Kanotix, however, they are similar enough to solve this kind of problem.)
