Uninstalling bad wallpaper in KDE

Postby RWIndiana » 2006-01-25 21:11

I have a fairly simple question (this is KDE 3.5): how would one go about deleting/uninstalling a wallpaper where the actual picture is missing? I installed a few which didn't download properly, and I can't reinstall them unless I uninstall them (apparently). So how do I do this?

Thanks!

# apt-cache search wallpaper
find the name of what you want to remove, then apt-get remove it.

Thanks for the advice, though I found what my problem was. My "bad" wallpapers were simply placed in the ~/.kde/share/wallpapers directory and weren't extracted yet! So I did that and now it's all good. :)
