[SOLVED] toolbar icons not visible in openoffice 3

Hello,

when I run Openoffice 3, after loading, the toolbar icons disappear (they are visible while still loading OO.org). They are shown when the mouse hovers over them, but just the one under the mouse pointer is shown and after disappears again. I'm using Debian Squeeze and:

openoffice 3.1.1-1
kernel 2.6.30-1-amd64
xserver-xorg 7.4+4 (from ustable)
xserver-xorg-video-radeon 6.12.3-1 (from ustable)

edit: this is under KDE4. Under Gnome it doesn't happens. Also, running desktop as root (either KDE or Gnome) OO.org works fine.

edit 2: I had installed GTK Styles and Fonts. Deleting ~/.kde/env/gtk-qt-engine.rc fixed the problem.
