On my windowsbox I do those things with mediaplayer :oops: :oops:
But what should I use for playing these things on linux?

When I search on the internet I get a hole bunch of players but which 1 2 use and why?

It depends...
I use KDE, hence, I use KSCD for playing CDs, JuK for MP3s, and mplayer for DVDs.
For MP3, XMMS is the best, I think, and you may try Xine for playing DVDs.

And what is whit ogle?
I read some positive things about it.

Ogle is one of the best open source DVD players around.
But it is only a DVD player.
