Icedove and url's
Re: Icedove and url's
This is weird (I hope you are not middle-clicking) but I suppose the answer is in this page: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Default_browser#Linux
and particularly: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Default_brows ... rd_-_Linux
Or maybe you could use an addon (extension):
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunde ... src=search
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunde ... src=search

Re: Icedove and url's
Hey,
it's really simple, just do this in Icedove:
1) click on Edit -> Preferences
2) In the Preferences window click on the Attachments tab and check there Content Type for http and https.

Re: Icedove and url's
I believe something is wrong with your icedove, look at this picture of my Preferences.flyingtuxxie wrote:Hello i am just going to preferences and attachments content type is completely empty are you sure with the instructions then there is something wrong with mine icedove maybe???
Try this:
1) Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced
2) In general tab click in Advanced Configuration "Config Editor..."
3) Type in filter:
network.protocol-handler.app.http
network.protocol-handler.app.https
if you can't see them, then you need to add them as strings with value x-www-browser
like this:
right mouse click on empty area -> New -> String -> Enter the preference name: network.protocol-handler.app.http and value: x-www-browser
do this for network.protocol-handler.app.https same.
i hope this will help you
