I'm attempting to add an Intel X520-DA1 to a Dell T630 and each time I do it proxmox refuses to boot up. At first I thought it was a BIOS issue, but the server actually gets past bios and starts to boot into the OS.
I know that this is the debian forum, but I thought you guys might be able to help since proxmox is just software installed on top of Debian (possibly with some other changes).
The Pieces
- Dell T630 with UEFI BIOS fully updated and Secure Boot off
- Proxmox fully updated (5.2-9)
- Debian GNU/Linux 9.5 (stretch)
- Linux version 4.15.18-1-pve (build@pve) (gcc version 6.3.0 20170516 (Debian 6.3.0-18+deb9u1)) #1 SMP PVE 4.15.18-15 (Wed, 04 Jul 2018 15:42:56 +0200)
- Intel X520-DA1
I pulled it back out, but I'm not sure how to proceed.
Here's the syslog, but it doesn't look like any info that helps.
I powered down the server around 13:20 to install the card and gave up and removed the card and fully booted the server back up around 14:25.
