Monitor overclocking [SOLVED]

#1 Post by GrenMel »

Is there still a way to OC monitors in Linux with NVIDIA GPU? I'm using non-free NVIDIA driver 440.82. I found some tutorials online, but those were at best 3 y.o. and didn't work. Thanks for any help.

I mean like setting custom resolution + refresh rate in GPU driver to output to a monitor. Thanks for all your responses and future help.

Have You tried this:
Nvidia-monitor-overclocking-on-Linux

If the above doesn't work for You, then the only way is to use custom EDID file (hundreds of links available on this topic).
