Intel Atom and Power Management

#1 Post by Segfault »

One of my boxes has this CPU. Do I understand correctly there is absolutely no power management for this CPU?

It doesn't support it according that Intel link. What does "cpufreq-info" report for that machine?

Code: Select all

cpupower frequency-info
analyzing CPU 0:
no or unknown cpufreq driver is active on this CPU
  boost state support:
    Supported: no
    Active: no
Running custom kernel, both ACPI and P-States functions are enabled along with governors.

Thanks, next time I rebuild the kernel I will do necessary changes. (Blacklisting modules won't work because I do not have modules.)
