Avermedia H810 DVB-T [07ca:0810]

#1 Post by alexport »

I am trying to set up a live tv server on my raspberry (running raspbian). I have the DVB-T tuner mentioned above and I can't figure out how to make it work. My dmesg:

Code: Select all

[ 4.432402] usb 1-1.3.3.1: new high-speed USB device number 7 using dwc_otg
[ 4.557217] usb 1-1.3.3.1: New USB device found, idVendor=07ca, idProduct=0810
[ 4.577000] usb 1-1.3.3.1: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3
[ 4.591110] usb 1-1.3.3.1: Product: AVerMedia H810 USB Hybrid DVB-T
[ 4.601021] usb 1-1.3.3.1: Manufacturer: AVerMedia TECHNOLOGIES, Inc.
[ 4.616737] usb 1-1.3.3.1: SerialNumber: 000000000000
[ 4.648834] udevd[159]: starting version 175
I can tell that it is recognized. I don't know what the last line means (udevd[159]: starting version 175).
The USB-stick has a TDA18271 chipset and an AF9033 tuner.

Any help is appreciated...

Besides Debian is not Raspbian your device seems not to work under linux. Next time make sure you buy hardware that is supported by the linux kernel.
“Have you tried turning it off and on again?”
