Debian vs PCIe eSATA card

#1 Post by salvalnx »

Hi all
I have installed Debian Jessie on a Mac Pro Early 2008. Everything worked perfect. I just installed a PCIe card eSATA 6G NewerTechnology MaxPower III. Since Debian does not start. Shortly after starting it all in the black with a cursor in the top left and does nothing.
Interestingly, if I turn on the disks attached to that card, I can boot Debian while not recognizing the disks. These discs do not want to use Debian, using video are for Mac OS X and have formatted in HFS + Raid 0. In Mac eSATA card works perfectly.
I do not want to use the disks whith Debian but I would like to start Debian when they are turned off. Only if they are turned on.
How can I solve that?
