Hi all,
even though I've managed to use the BCM43142 wireless card on Jessie with the wl driver things started to work
pretty bad for the last month or so.
Connection issues, low signal, low speed, you name it. I'm working through ssh and it's a nightmare.
I've followed ALL the suggestions from the wl wiki page as well to try to fix this but it keeps happening, I can enjoy
a decent connection for about 10mins and then everything stalls. I'm done with this card.
So the question is, does anyone know of any good replacement wireless card that I can use?
The machine is a Sony Flip 14 laptop SVF14N15CDS. Thanks in advance
*EDIT*
It seems that Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0 Combo Adapter
could be an option.

Re: BCM43142 wireless card replacement options
Intel is good, yes. Some laptops have whitelist of allowed cards in firmware and they refuse to work with other cards. Check this out before you commit to purchasing.

@segfault Thank you, I was not aware of that. I'll check
*EDIT* It seems this intel dual band is legit, and works under several brands, including Sony and many others (except Lenovo)
and it's supported by the iwlwifi driver on Debian.

Got my new Intel dual band wireless card 7260 yesterday. Installed it and so far, no problems.
