Hi All,
Does debian-8.7.1-amd64 support Purley platform? If not, does Debian have any schedule for Purley on hand?
Thanks

I haven't read or heard of any problems, are you having an issue or just sharing gossip?

Almost certainly not, since Purley is bleeding-edge hardware.Huaisheng wrote:Does debian-8.7.1-amd64 support Purley platform?
If you want a trendy distro, look into Arch. Maybe Fedora.

Very lucky, 8.7.1 has been installed successfully with Purley at my side. Later I will check Purley's features one by one based on it.bw123 wrote:I haven't read or heard of any problems, are you having an issue or just sharing gossip?

Another question, I found 8.7.1's kernel version was 3.16.0-4-amd64, I want to know it was porting back from which branch of upstream.
I am a newbie with Debian, really thanks for your help.
