It seemes that Debian 9 was just got released and decided to give it another shot!
The installation process was normal, but, everythime I log in, there is this green screen with some strange colorized stripes for half a second that occours two times.
I tought that the GPU drivers needed to be installed. I have a HD 7770 GPU.
On my google research, I found this page: https://wiki.debian.org/ATIProprietary
It doens't have the instructions for Debian 9 yet, but tested the command
Code: Select all
aptitude update
And was this page: https://linuxconfig.org/how-to-install- ... etch-linux
I've got to this part and tested
Code: Select all
apt update && apt upgrade
Then, I went to AMD drivers official website, selected my GPU and Linux x86_64 version. I've got a .zip file. Extract it and run the .run file that was in it by dragging and dropping it in the terminal and thereafter with chmod +x command, but it was only to made it extract itself again, not installing it.
Can you guys help me?
I'm using Debian 9 with Gnome..
