APU2 Watchdog

#1 Post by ouafnico »

Hi all,

I'm trying to make working hardware watchdog from apu2.

It seems I had to blacklist i2c_piix4 and load sp5100_tco module.

When I did this, no /dev/watchdog* is created, and I got this error on dmesg:

[106717.992849] sp5100_tco: SP5100/SB800 TCO WatchDog Timer Driver v0.05
[106717.993184] sp5100_tco: PCI Vendor ID: 0x1022, Device ID: 0x780b, Revision ID: 0x42
[106717.993214] sp5100_tco: failed to find MMIO address, giving up.

any clue what I can search for ?

it's debian 9 x64 uptodate.

thanks
Vive Linux !
