I just got burned on some AR9462 cards that claimed to support 5GHz but didn't.

So, now I'm looking for a good dual band wireless adapter that people have actually tried and used.
it must have an open driver and preferrably no proprietary firmware if possible.
USB is OK, but I'd really like an internal M.2 NGFF adapter. An internal adapter would have to be A keyed or both A and E keyed to fit my laptop.
Any ideas?

Dual band wireless adapter?
Re: Dual band wireless adapter?
Yeah, Intel is sort of my last resort if I can't find something with open firmware or no loadable firmware at all.
I had really high hopes for the AR9462, but the only format it seems to work in is Mini PCI-E, which does me no good.
