Hi,
I'm trying to run my 4K DP Monitor with a Lenovo ThinkPad USB-C Dock, but this causes my system to freeze completely.
Is anyone here experiencing similar issues? Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Michael

Re: Thinkpad T480 with Lenovo USB-C Dock and DP Monitor
Hi again,
I got some progress but it is still not running perfectly.
First of all, I have now installed the nvidia proprietary driver which resultet in a broken xserver.
This is caused by the dual gpu configuration of the T480 and can be fixed by installing bumblebee.
It is not crashing anymore but it's still not properly running with a 4k Monitor.
Nvidia driver: https://wiki.debian.org/NvidiaGraphicsD ... Stretch.22
Bumblebee: https://wiki.debian.org/Bumblebee
Best regards,
Michael
