What do you want suggestions about?

About the suitability of the SSD?
Are you going to new a new, clean install?
Are you going to extract some data from the HDD?
Do you intend to clone the HDD to the SDD?

I use Samsung EVO series in all my computers... no issues on my end. If you want advise on HDD or SSD, no doubt please, SSD always the number 1 choice.

Check to make sure that your Laptop is Sata2 or 3. If it is Sata2 you will not get the full potential of your proposed SSD, so you might find it cheaper to look for an older Sata2 SSD
