Hello...
I have a 19" monitor with a native resolution of 1280x1024. However, 1280x720 does not appear as a supported resolution in the monitor settings, and I would like to know if it's possible to add it, with black bars on the top and bottom of the screen (letterbox).
I know Windows 10 has support for a letterboxed 1280x720 resolution on 1280x1024 monitors, but I cannot select it on my Debian system, as it does not appear in the monitor configuration. Any help would be appreciated!
I run Debian 9 XFCE with Kernel 4.9.
