Hi, I am on Debian 9 (stretch) on a laptop. I do not have any ethernet port thus I have bought a USB Ethernet adapter from Syncwire. https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B074CDL78M
It worked on Windows partition...no need to install. On Debian it does not work!
Any idea on how to make it working and set-up a LAN connection?
Here is what I get
sudo tail -f /var/log/messages

EDIT: or perhaps try the newer kernel version available from the stretch-backports repository.
