laptop microphone not detected

Hi,

I recently switched from windows to debian on my thinkpad x1 carbon, and I'm having trouble getting the built-in microphone to work.

I have cinnamon desktop environment installed.

I already tried many solutions on different forums but it still doesn't work.

Could anyone help me with that ?

And have you checked the Debian wiki? It seems to have several pages devoted to that device.
