Flash in laptop with kernel 5.4

#1 Post by Vctrsnts »

Hi,

I have a Lenovo Ideapad Y700 with GNU / Debian SID that has the following characteristics:
  • - Linux 5.4.0-4-amd64 # 1 SMP Debian 5.4.19-1 (2020-02-13) x86_64 GNU / Linux
    - VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation HD Graphics 530 (rev 06) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
    • - In the BIOS I have selected that it works only with the internal graphics (that is with the Intel)
    - Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz - Skylake
And the following packages that reference Xorg:
  • - xserver-common
    - xserver-xorg
    - xserver-xorg-core
    - xserver-xorg-input-all
    - xserver-xorg-input-libinput
    - xserver-xorg-video-intel
And when the flash in file

Code: Select all

/var/log/syslog
I get the following error:

Code: Select all

kernel: [15990.152558] [drm: intel_cpu_fifo_underrun_irq_handler [i915]] * ERROR * CPU pipe A FIFO underrun
Instead, this before with kernel 5.3 did not happen to me.

I no longer know where to look and where to look, does anyone know where this problem may come from and how it can be solved?

Thanks a lot
