Can I use HDD sink case for attachment SSD?

Hi,

Can I use the HDD metal sink case for an strongly attachment of the SSD?..

I bought a SSD with a plastic enclosure but doesnt bringht anything to get screwed with into the SATA mainboard.. without that..the sdd would stay floating connected.... I worry it gets warmer and fails eventually If i attached it to the metal sink enclosure...but at the same, its about a heat sink..shouldnt be any trouble... dont know, what do you think?

It can't hurt to mount your SSD to a heat sink. The cooler to keep it, the better.

What is the SSD form factor ? 2,5" ?
What do you mean by "SATA mainboard" ?
What do you mean by "metal sink enclosure" ?

What do you mean by "feeling" ? Emotion or physical sensation ?

This looks more like a 2,5" caddy/EMI shield than a heat sink.
