Somehow (I suspect a sw-upgrade of the past week) the sound card doesn't work anymor on my system. Here comes the output of inxi -F:

I wonder what's wrong. I keep getting displayed "Dummy Output" when looking at "Audio-Video".
Everything worked when I first installed Debian 10.8. It also functions on Debian 9.
Help would be GREATLY appreciated

After a lot of "googling" I found the entry about timidity. Disabling that app made sound appear again. I expect that the time and effort needed to get things like this (another example would be scanning!) working on Debian accounts for some of the reason why people choose distros like mint or - in my case kubuntu - for everyday usage scenarios like laptops...
