Macbook pro become hot

Hello everybody, first of all, sorry for my bad english.
I'm i the forum to see if I cane have some explication. I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014) Processor 2,6 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3. I try to install debian gnome. the problem is, the computer become very hot quickly and the fan makes a lot of noise.
Someone can help to have a solution about this, even other distribution of linux who can be better than debian, I'm open to other distribution.

Gnome is not the lightest DM, I use Xfce, but there are also many other options
in the Debian repo.

Have you vacuumed the ventilation channels of your Mac so that air flows free?

You could also open terminal and run command top there to see which programs cause the heaviest load.

Yes, some actual numbers of CPU-load and temperature would be nice, for instance with psensor.

(Enabling GPU-acceleration in Firefox will take some load from the CPU.)

Speaking of GPU, what is your hardware and driver information for that Mac?

Easy way to get it is to install inxi, then give us the the result of "inxi -Gxx" in the terminal.

Just installed Debian 12 on a retina MacBook Pro mid 2012 (10,1).
This old issue has resurfaced for some reason: one of the CPUs is at 100% all the time, and the machine gets hot.

Workarounds:

1. In the past this worked: hibernate and unhibernate (worked with Ubuntu / Linux Mint years ago, not tested with Debian).

2. In the past the following worked with Ubuntu / Linux Mint, and it worked today with Debian:

Which interrupt?
$ grep . -r /sys/firmware/acpi/interrupts/
(gpe16 seems to be the culprit)

Test:
$ sudo su
# echo "disable" > /sys/firmware/acpi/interrupts/gpe16
The CPU at 100% dropped immediately to normal levels

The fix/workaround:

sudo -s
crontab -e

add the following line at the end :

@reboot echo disable > /sys/firmware/acpi/interrupts/gpe16

Reboot.

I hope the above is enough to help someone fix this, so that the workaround is not required.
