microphone & Sarge kernel 2.6.8-2-k7 & Realtek ALC65

Hi everyone,

I'm traing to configurate the microphone. I have an on-board sound card Realtek ALC650 AC'97, motherboard Asus A7V8X. I don't have problems to reproduce sound, but the microphone doesn't work. I have installed the following alsa packages: alsa-base, alsa-utils, alsamixergui, alsa-oss.

I have checked the volume with kmix and alsamixergui.
/dev/dsp* has 666 permissions and the user is part of the audio group.
The microphone works without problems under windows. So, it is correctly connected.

I could imagine that the problem is the alsa configuration. When I try to record something with krecord I hear a horrible periodic noise. It doesn' matter wether I have started recording or not. That noise is always there.
