- https://www.khanacademy.org/computing/c ... rogramming - This one starts in JavaScript but seems to focus on the getting to basics of programming logic, albeit through drawing silly things on the screen. Hard to pass up instant feed back though. It's free.
- http://www.codecademy.com/ - lots of options, including Python and Ruby. Also free.
- https://www.codeschool.com/ - Good stuff, some free, some not. But quite affordable. I'm currently using this one to hone my skills, are being newly acquired w/o any prior experience.
