Source Code

#1 Post by Olly »

Hi all:

Just wondering is someone could help me with the following: When looking at certain applications i.e. XEN they have a section which refers to the source code for the application: "Source code (stable, testing and unstable releases)" does this infer that the source code for the app is available for all?

If i wanted to take a peak at the source and find out how the application was built, would this availiabilty allow me to do so?

Many thanks

Olly

p.s. if anyone is interested I have included link to site:

That exactly what "Open Source" and GPL mean.
Cheack out the GNU General Public License
