Recommandation for an IDE ?

Is there a good Integrated Development Enviroment (IDE) under Linux? I mean something like Visual C++, which integrated project management, file browsing, debugging together. Thanks very much!

Anjuta cannot start on my "Etch" correctly. Eclipse only has JDT listed in the apt-get list, no CDT. Can I run Kdevelop under Gnome?

Absolutely. It simply loads the kde libs as well.
