math for blinds under Linux

#1 Post by Guest »

Hi
I'm a computer science student, I'm trying to help a boy who is studiyng phisics at the university. He is blind from not much time so He don't know Braille; he uses speech synthesis only. Because at the university the students usually use Linux, it is necessary for him to install some software for linux for write and read mathematics
Do someone tell me which programs exist and I can try to install?
I have installed Kanotix, it is a debian live-cd..
Thank you!
and sorry for my bad English....

You might want to post this question to the Debian accessibility mailing list.
