Gnome and gdm - Enable reboot and shutdown

I am running Sid and choosing logout has Switch User, Cancel and Log Out. No Reboot and Shutdown. How can I add the latter two as choices?

EDIT: As stated below gnomer-power-manger seems to have helped. But it is also import to have Advanced Power Management enabled in your kernel.

if you login at the terminal, and type startx your options are Switch User, Cancel and Log Out

if you use gdm you should have reboot and shutdown also.

i don't use startx manually. so there must be a file i need to change.

I ran dpk-reconfigure gdm and chose gdm. but this is the result of that.

On Gnome you need Power Manager enabled at Startup Applications.

Power Manager? As in the one needed for managing laptop battery life?

Would I need Power Manager for a desktop Pc as well?
