A friend of mine was trying to install Debian testing (i386) from Debian Live alpha2 image ( http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/squee ... esktop.iso )
During installation he set up LVM and created a volume group and several logical volumes for /, /swap and /var. But during installation, at around 98% the installer produced an error while "running partman-lvm.."
The log looked like:
