Hey everyone. Just wanted to say hi.

Making the switch from windows, well almost currently running a dual boot system, Windows XP and Debian.

My main reason for using Debian is that I am interested in running my own web server or atleast get some experiance with it and Apache which I also have no experiance with. ;)

I guess you could say I am in for a bit of an adventure.

I have been reading the documentation over at debian.org but if anyone has any advice or other readings I should look into it would be appriciated.

Anyways just wanted to say hi to the community.

Heh right now it is on my desktop as I am still experimenting with all of this new found fun. And so far so good I have ran into a few road blocks but nothing looking around on the forums couldn't fix.

Debian Desktop Survival Guide

Linux in general:

JustLinux
LinuxQuestions

I've got more at home, but I'm at work ATM. I'll try to post them later on this weekend.
