combine multiple dvd-image
Re: combine multiple dvd-image
I never done that before.
But, are those dvds you got there from downloading?
If internet connection speed is not a problem for you, the easiest way is to mirror the nearest official mirror.

Re: combine multiple dvd-image
i downloaded those dvd's in the city,
but in the province internet connection are limited or super very slow connection
mirroring or fetching nearby mirror wansnt possible
sometime i do/we do reformat our lab computers 3-4 time a day during RND runtime
our application requires direct access to USB port and PCI Devices so it cant done by Virtualbox or VMware

Re: combine multiple dvd-image
Well..I have no experience in combining Debian dvds installer into one source.
But if, your current solution by mounting all those dvds works fine, I think for now, you should stick with it. I mean, it's working right? So no problem.
Anyway, have you tried copying all stuffs on those dvds into one directory? Perhaps it might work.
