Some information I gathered:
/etc/network/interfaces
Code: Select all
# This file describes the network interfaces available on your system
# and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5).
# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
# The primary network interface
allow-hotplug eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

Here is the atual state of my config files:

Everytime I run dhclient, it can't get a lease and in dmesg I can see a "eth0: link is not ready" message. I assumed is not a configuration problem in my router (other machines works just fine).
The kernel version is 3.1.0-1-686-pae and here some commands returns that may help:

I've searched here and googled about it but nothing worked in my situation.
This has been bugging me for days, maybe i'm missing something in the network configuration. It's just that I've tried everything I could think of.
Any help is truly aprecieted.
