Debian/Ubuntu games screenshot party!

#1 Post by pabs3 »

Have you ever wondered how to start getting involved in Debian/Ubuntu? Do you enjoy discovering new games and playing them? You might want to come to the games screenshot party! We hope that the party will be a fun, easy, low-commitment way to get involved.

The Debian/Ubuntu games team is organising a half-day screenshots party on the 26th February for creating screenshots for all the games that are available in Debian/Ubuntu.

If you are interested in attending, please take a look at the links below.

Look forward to lots of game playing, screenshots and a merry time, hope to see you all there!

We would greatly appreciate help promoting the event, so if you have an account on the Ubuntu forums or on social media platforms like Diaspora/Identica (or the proprietary versions Facebook/Twitter/Google Plus), please post about it!

It would be my kind of humor if the cotton-courtesy-queen called dasein would offer us her usual rant about double posting or if the uber-nanny named moderator would start her usual editing, closing or moving of threads, but we all know this will not happen...

I reposted the announcement at diaspora.
Lemme try to find a way to put it in the 144 chars allowed at twitter and identica (...found a way... twitter-speak sure is strange...)

side note:
goplay, mentioned at the linked wiki page above, is worth having a look at (not great, but interesting, at least to me).

Thanks for reposting on Diaspora/Identica/Twitter!

Sorry about the duplicate post, I figured it was relevant for both forums and that I could reach more people that way.
