Custom theme?

#1 Post by Pelly »

Since the time is coming for the release of Debian 7, I've came up with the idea of changing the default DE to KDE. But I think that we need to customize the skin, like as in openSUSE. So I've DL'd Inkscape and started to work on the icons. I'll call the theme "Sparkly". I have the DEB icon as my avatar. What's your opinion about it? Would you like to contribute to this theme? Also, do you know any better name?

As uninspiring as it may be, Joy it is a thousand times better than the theme chosen for Squeeze. Now may be a good time for someone to start work on the theme for Debian 8.0

one opinion.
After the flamefest about spacefun
I'll bet the devs that do the actual packaging of the artwork
were glad to have a bland theme for wheezy.

lol.

Oh yes.
Otoh: a worse theme was impossible
(I plan for months to make a post in offtopic as soon wheezy is the new stable: "goodbye spacefun").

Every single person that I installed Squeeze for stated they really love the default theme. Most had never even changed it.

No one hinders them to stick to it.

Well: i can make an educated guess about the (intellectual) age of someone not being able to install himself.
