Hello!

I was usually a Glade/GTK+ fan and I did do most of my projects in Glade, but now I'm interested in QT and I went to download the QT Open Source Edition and compiled it.. after 3 hours it was finished, but then I found out that the QT Open Source Edition is in the Debian repositories, and that I would just need to apt-get install qt3-designer to test it out..

That's one of the things I really like about Debian, if you can't find it in a repository, it probably doesn't exist. Or at least you don't need it.

You forgot you're using Debian. It has what, like, 15,000 packages!
Tower | Debian Testing & Mageia 1 | HP DX5150 AMD64 | 512gb | 40gb
AAO | Mandriva 2010.2 | Intel Atom | 1gb | 160gb
Mini Mac G4 | Debian & OSX | 1gb | 60gb

Qt3 will soon be deprecated (I read somewhere). Qt4 is in Etch, it's much much nicer too :)
