vbrummond retiring as Moderator

#1 Post by saulgoode »

vbrummond has requested to resign from being a forum Moderator to be able to focus more on his life in meat space. Hopefully this will only be a temporary respite and he will consider returning as Moderator in the future. He will stay on as Spam Hunter and continue to participate in the forums.

I wish to thank vbrummond for the contributions he's made to administering these forums and wish him well in his future endeavors.
Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it. -- Brian Kernighan

Which one are you from DUF? Fretful Mother? This has nothing to do with you, but frustration over your bullshit is indeed what inspired me to return to being a spam hunter. This kind of harassment makes this board not even worth being a part of.

naednaem (that's a palindrome BTW) probably pulls legs off spiders and wings off flies too. He is a picador par excellence!
May the FORK be with you!

I was being serious although I do admit I was only referring to your posts that actually attempt to help a member with a technical problem.

And nothing I have done has been personal in any way, beyond responding to your personal comments. And ummm..remember...

Not to mention I have made a total of 42 posts in about three weeks, before that I haven't visited the place in...a long time...six months...maybe more....

And to be honest I don't think I have ever said a thing about you, anywhere, that I can recall.

But think whatever you want.

Yeah because I am sure the majority of my posts here are not attempting to help a member with a problem. Grow up, and get off this thread.

@vbrummond
Thanks for your contributions to the forum! Being a moderator in Linux forums can at times be frustrating, plus you have to provide a certain time out of the daily schedule as well. Not an easy task.
I hope this thread doesn't continue like it has until now cause as members of the forum we have our differences and we all agree to disagree but one has to agree with the fact that the guy has given quite a bit of time and energy to the forum and deserves a better farewell.
Cheers!!!
