Bluetooth adapter not found/detected/recognized

Hi:

I need some help with my bluetooth adapter, I have been searching the web on how I could make it work but I just got no particular answer.

It's a build-in wifi card with bluetooth function. And it works just well in my Win 8. But in debian, the bluetooth don't work while the wifi is working good.

Can anyone help on this.

The whole problem looks just the same as the below topic in Ubuntu. But they don't get work around for it.

I've installed Blueman, bluez and bluedevel. All the GUIs and CLI say like "No adapters found"
No option or keyset found to disable/enable just bluetooth on keyboard or BIOS. There's a keyset to disable both wifi and bluetooth. And the wifi works well now.

I think you should try 'harder' and use the liquorix-kernel

So it's a driver package issue.
Well, I decide try even harder and buy a usb bluetooth device. Another computer of mine need it anyway.

Your problem is related to the driver. You need to use the STA driver. Look up broadcom-sta in the packages. Install, restart, and it will work. I have 2 laptops with the same issue. Only the STA driver supports the bluetooth part.

Maybe you are right. I tried further since last time but haven't get it work by now.
I bought a USB bluetooth, it works well when paring with the headphone. But I can't find the headphone in the sound manager. With a search, I find some one saying the current bluez removed some API and cause some problem. So I update debian with the testing repo. I never know bluez have so many dependencies and conflicts. And I have to make a total update for the whole system to make sense.
Now blueman succesfully connect to the headphone, but skipped the paring. That's no use at all.
