The system will randomly "freeze".

OS = Debian Stable AMD64
> uname -a
Linux PC-686 3.16.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.16.7-ckt25-1 (2016-03-06) x86_64 GNU/Linux
I don't know what is that, but after the recent "apt-get update; apt-get upgrade; apt-get dist-upgrade" operation, the system will randomly freeze.

Looks it happens randomly (no rules at all). Sometimes when I use iceweasel and sometimes when I use mate-system-monitor.

The hardware is fresh, so I think that maybe is potential bug.

Yes, AMD video card. :D

I still run the system without icewwasel and it seems fine.

I just had very similar problems and got help in another thread. Basically I updated the kernel to 3.16.7-ckt25-2 and that solved the problem.

Take a look at this http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=128061
