How do resize the image??

There are various ways to do that, sometimes the storage site has
some resizing options,
I use ImageMagick,
This is how I do it:

or at the
command line:

 convert image.png  -resize 200x100 image-tmb.png 

This would resize the image, and save the new image as "image-tmb.png".
The original image is not changed.
I suppose though, that is all another topic.

And they have options to resize the image when you upload
it, then you use the "thumbnail", to post here, with a link to the
fullsize image:

That looks pretty nice, good to see Debian Stretch still looks the way
it should, at least in my opinion,....
all though looks are not everything
One of the things I all ways have liked about it is the
way it looks after a fresh install,
Gnome looks good in the photo, does it work well too ? (don't answer here, that
would be another topic )

where are the icons in the desktop??, there should be there something, you cant work without any icons..

Yes, yours is beautifull, as well, and I imagine you put a lot
of work into it,.....It is really nice,...do you know why I say that ?
I say that because, if you like it and are happy with it,...then it
is the best.
But, some people like something different, and also we do not
need icons to work,... they are nice "eye candy", but when you click one,
and open something up in a full screen what happens ?

I am kind of just kidding with you, actually if you look closely,
I have Icons as well, they are down at the bottom, with text,
in the "tint2" tool bar, that way, they are not blocked or hidden
when I am using the "full screen".
The one Ardouos shows, has a menu, down in the lower left corner
you will see, it is mostly text, but for example, the firefox icon, is combined
with the text,... I prefer a straight forward "text menu", to me most
icons are meaning less, but the text is clear, it says what it is.
Any way, nice DE, thanks for sharing it.

A lot (if not all) of my functionality comes from customized shortcuts for launching applications. I prefer a clean desktop with no shortcuts as I enjoy cleanliness over clutter.

My main desktop on my current Jessie system is Openbox currently, but I am willing to give KDE5 a try when Stretch is released.

Stretch and kde5 are pretty ready, ive been using them from seven or eight months ago, I dont get any crash in kde5 anymore, so i can certificate to you than debian testing and kde5 are right now very secure and stable to use, im very glad i took the step to migrate to testing, It was a good decision in my case and for my needs, that are regular user use purpose.

Just one thing, if you go for it, i would use a debian's distro based on testing/KDE cos i found some problems doing by the regular way (that happend six or egiths months ago, perhaps now you dont get any problem). You can use Sparky 4.4 as a point to start.

I feel you're joking or perhaps trolling, but still welcome on Linux where you can launch an application without desktop-icon.

Instead of icons on desktop, some prefers console or cli.
