Thanks for the news; I'm looking forward to the release of "stretch" as the new Debian stable.

I had an acquaintance who linked it to me who received the news through Facebook, so I guess that makes sense. I have amended the URL on the original post though as it was unnecessary.

now officially soft frozen, except the mail said that a massive amount of RC-bug marked packages were accidentally let through...

For me this means that it is finally time to move to Stretch.

Actually I have had 2 stretch machines already since November...
