Debian and openSUSE Leap vms. I am trying to set up the desktop on opensuse. Much easier to get mate on Debian.

Ahh yes, the good ol' days. It was great, until it turned in to a huge ball of snoop, complete with processes you couldn't shut off without bringing the whole DE down (reminds of a certain proprietary DE).
