It is just your opinion. But haters gonna hate, are they? Personally, i think that fanboys is a threat to free software. By being irrational they harm everyone. They use emotions for something which should not have emotions. They make it difficult to work in free software. In fact it’s not a problem specific to free software, but can be observed overall in IT.bester69 wrote: nahh, i was mode ironic, you know an ugly girl is ugly, dont matter how you look at her

This is Debian wheezy, with OpenBox,...and 2 VirtualBox VMs running,
"links" text browser, no images,.....How ever I can't see the point in looking
at this thread if one can not see the images,...since that is what it is for.
However, on this I am not sure, that it would be considered a "Debian Desktop" or
"Fire Fox" Browser,...when using Fire Fox, the "desktop" becomes the browser,..
or is it the other way around,...the browser becomes the Desktop,.. ?

When I am online, and browsing, especially viewing lots of images, I use the browser in "full screen",...no WM or DE visible,...

Working on a webpage,...actually I started out just thinking to do a "Desktop" screenshot,
of the Screen, or "desktop" while working on something,...it almost might be more appropriate in the "How to" category,...but not really ready,----any way, here is
my Desktop ,...today, or this morning, working offline .
It progresed into this:

Debian stretch running GNOME:
As you can see, systemd-networkd is now in charge of the connections, the interface-specific wpa_supplicant unit file needed for wireless connections is now included and switching away from /etc/network/interfaces and the antediluvian ifupdown scripts now means that network.target is reached in a matter of milliseconds whereas previously I was suffering with a several second delay.

Re: What does your desktop look like?
Jessie with the Trinity desktop and a few backports. I keep everything set up so it's in the docker at the bottom or the panel at the top; no icons on the desktop. I figure if I have to do an extra click or whatever to drop to a bare desktop it's bad design...
