Just returned long enough to see if debian.net had a DNS redirect to google .com yet.

If this forum can't dazzle them with meaningful answers, baffle them with unbounded Google BS.

Unstable means never having to screw around with repos and BPO's.

If you ever have to backport, you are using the wrong distribution.

This message is powered by experimental kernel siduction 4.10~rc7-1~exp1 on sid.

Oh, the humanity!
There's no drama in my sid......

Oh, right and wrong! Do they really have an objective meaning? Your post sounds like someone assuming everyone who backports does it for the same reason, that is, to have the newest software. Think a little longer, and you should realise there are sometimes reasons that force a Linux user to install newer software. On this very machine, lately, I was getting a kernel error that prevented it from using both CPU cores. The solution was to upgrade the kernel.

The worst infection of all, is a false sense of security!
It is hard to get away from CLI tools.

I use backports too. aspell-fi was dropped from Jessie, so had to download it from backports. Just one example.
