libpcap - seg fault

#1 Post by ksu »

Hello,

Any suggestions on how to attempt to start debugging this problem?
It has been like this since ifirst tried any lbpcap dependent application(...) System installed in Mar 2015... I was hoping to have it solved on every kernel upgrade for Jessie:

Code: Select all

$ nmap -sS 10.0.0.0/24 -e eth3

Starting Nmap 6.47 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2017-03-10 15:39 EST
Segmentation fault

$ dmesg

Realtek disabled - imo Intel is the way to go, for number of reasons.
