Installing a KDE desktop theme does not seem to change icons even if the theme contains icons. An example is the Diamond theme at https://store.kde.org/p/998883 (which is also in the system addon installer); the theme apparently contains e.g. a different kick off button icon, but after applying the theme the icon stays the same which is true for any other theme.
Is this an expected behaviour? If so, how do I fully apply a theme, including all components (like icons or anything else that might not have been applied)?
Thank you.
(Debian 8.7, KDE 4.14.2)

Applying KDE desktop theme does not change icons
Re: Applying KDE desktop theme does not change icons
Systemsettings -> Workspace Appearance -> Desktop Theme -> Details
NB: Only panel icons can be changed by this method. The desktop icon theme is a totally separate beast.
You can also set the icon for the Kickoff launcher by right-clicking the icon itself.
