Desktop icons bigger after upgrade (SOLVED)

#1 Post by marcetm »

Hi all,

I've just upgraded from jessie to stretch and all it's working as it was before but I have a little issue that it is very annoying. My desktop icons are bigger than before so I have almost all of them in the bottom right corner one over another so it is impossible to click them. Anyone knows how to reduce their size?

Thanks

EDIT: I'm using Gnome.

It might be a "new feature", and probably it's like that by design.
I would try this:

I already googled that and I think is nautilus related but I'm not with that laptop right now so I'll have to wait for checking it...

Thanks GarryRicketson

Open Nautilus and browse to your Desktop folder. Select an icon size from the menu (3 horizontal bars) and change the size.

That's the way to resolve it.
