Failed to check for container: Input/output error

#1 Post by manmath »

Hi, I am running Debian Stretch on Xanmod kernel. This morning I updated kernel and removed the old one. While removing the old kernel on update-initramfs it shows this error (read the bold text). What does that mean? My system is working fine though.

Surprisingly no response at all. I'm sorry to have posted this question, perhaps desktop issues are ignored here.

The problem: will it cause any problem in future? Besides, I'm clueless what does that error message mean. Maybe, that's a false positive, but it leaves the user guessing till eternity.
